Time to Travel

“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step” – Lao Tzu

I am a traveller who enjoys exploring different parts of the world. I’ve been to a few countries and will share my experiences with you. I hope you enjoy my experience. I began travelling at a very young age. I travel alone as a backpacker. I always prefer to travel alone, but wherever I go, I make a few Facebook friends first. Then I enjoy meeting and greeting them at their workplace. This is very intriguing to me.

I began visiting India a few years ago and believe I have seen the major sights. My first tour took me from Kolkata to Darjeeling. I was astounded, and this was a train journey. I was completely overjoyed. Darjeeling’s beauty left me speechless.

“Traveling – it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller” – Ibn Battuta

And I began to wonder, if Darjeeling is so lovely, what about Sikkim, Simla, or Kashmir? Then I decided to visit Kashmir. That was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. It’s a completely different environment than where I live. That felt like a different world to me. I stayed for two weeks and enjoyed the scenery. After that, I returned, and I hope to return to that wonderful location in the future.

  • What Have I Discovered About Traveling?
  • “I’ve learned a lot of interesting things while travelling”. Language is the most fascinating thing to me. I am fluent in Bengali and Telegu. I am a good English speaker and can communicate with anyone in English; this language assists me in learning the third. I can now speak and read in five different languages. Aside from language, I’ve made a lot of friends. Few of them have come to my house.

Finally, my travel experience has been absolutely fantastic. Everyone should travel more frequently, in my opinion. It will aid in the development of your mental faculties. You’ll have the ability to think big. The world is an amazing place to explore.

“Travel makes one modest. You see what a tiny place you occupy in the world” – Gustave Flaubert
